Croatia Hot Air Balloon Rally

Croatia Hot Air Balloon Rally is one of the most attractive outdoor events in this area, dedicated to all fans of hot air balloons, and those who are yet to become one. Visitors to the festival have the opportunity to observe these fascinating aircraft and their exciting flights over the beautiful hilly landscape of Hrvatsko Zagorje. The rally is held in early May, and brings together experienced balloon teams from around the world at Krapina-Zagorje Airport in Zabok, with educational, entertainment and gastronomic facilities throughout the day. The event is accompanied by favorable weather conditions, then morning flights start at 7, and afternoon at 17 hours. A special treat for all visitors are the fantastic night illumination programs that take place in the evening after sunset.
