Zagorje Trekk

Trekking League races from year to year offer new challenges and experiences, and the organizers strive to provide adventures to remember. The trekking trend has come to life in recent years, and the tamers of the mythical mountains have begun to sprout from all sides. Trekking is a type of sports race in which competitors on their feet, with the help of compasses, maps and mandatory prescribed equipment, must pass all set checkpoints as quickly as possible in a limited period of time. For most participants, the intention is not just to rush through the wilderness but to truly enjoy moving through nature while socializing. During Zagorje Trekka, more than 900 competitors a year compete in orienteering on the hills of central Zagorje, which aims to popularize this sport and promote healthy living tourism.
